How to Prepare for Your Cleaning
A little preparation goes a long way toward getting the best results. Here is what we recommend before your appointment.
Pre-vacuum if you can
A quick vacuum before we arrive removes loose surface debris and lets our equipment focus on the deep-down soil that vacuuming can't reach. It's not required, but it helps us get the best possible result for you.
Pick up small items from the floor
Toys, shoes, pet items, cords, and other small objects on the floor should be moved out of the areas to be cleaned. This lets us work efficiently and protects your belongings.
Secure pets in another area
For the safety of your pets and so we can work without interruption, please keep pets in a room or area away from the cleaning zones during the appointment.
Furniture — What We Move and What to Move Yourself
- Items under 40 lbs with no fragile objects or electronics on them — we'll move those for you.
- Large items like beds, dressers, and TV stands can be worked around. Our swivel-head wand reaches several feet under furniture, so we can clean under a bed without moving it.
- Items with fragile decor, electronics, or heavy pieces (over 40 lbs) should be cleared by you before we arrive for the best results.

What to Expect During Your Appointment
When we arrive, we will walk through the areas with you, confirm the scope of work, and point out anything that may affect results — such as existing stains or wear patterns — before we begin. No surprises.
Carpets usually dry within 12 hours. During extraction we follow each wet pass with dry strokes to remove as much moisture as possible, and after an area is cleaned we set up air movers to circulate air across the carpet before we leave.
Upholstered furniture and area rugs usually dry within 4 to 6 hours. Ceramic and porcelain tile surfaces usually dry within about 20 minutes, while grout can take up to 24 hours to dry fully. We dry wood floor surfaces immediately after cleaning so they are not left wet.
Airflow, temperature, humidity, material, and additional treatments can affect drying time. We recommend good airflow after cleaning. If a sealer or protective coating is applied, follow its separate drying and use instructions.
We do a final walkthrough with you before we pack up. If anything does not meet your expectations, we address it on the spot.

Pre-Inspection on Arrival
When we arrive, we walk through the areas with you, note any spots of concern, and confirm the scope of work. We'll point out anything that may affect results — such as existing stains, wear patterns, or fiber type — so there are no surprises.
Pre-Treatment of All Areas
Every area to be cleaned is pre-treated with professional-grade solutions to loosen embedded soil, break down grease, and lift oils from the fibers. Pre-treatment is what allows the extraction step to remove more than surface-level soil.
Spot Treatment
Visible spots, stains, and high-traffic areas receive targeted treatment with the appropriate solution for that specific type of soiling. Different stains require different chemistry — we match the treatment to the problem.
Agitation
After pre-treatment, we agitate the solution into the carpet fibers to fully loosen embedded soil before extraction. Agitation allows the cleaning solution to do its job and makes the extraction more effective.

Our truck-mounted equipment delivers hot water mixed with an all-fiber rinse solution deep into the carpet pile and immediately extracts it along with loosened soil, residue, and contaminants. The all-fiber rinse is mixed into the cleaning water — it helps neutralize alkalinity and rinse away residue during extraction, which reduces the sticky residue that causes areas to re-soil faster after cleaning. After each wet pass, we follow with dry strokes — passes without releasing more water — to extract as much moisture as possible before moving to the next area.
Air Movers for Drying Support
After an area is cleaned, we set up air movers to circulate air across the carpet and support drying. Our customers' carpets usually dry within 12 hours — carpet type, humidity, airflow, temperature, and any additional treatments can affect that timing.
Post-Cleaning Walkthrough
We walk through the cleaned areas with you before we leave. If anything doesn't meet your expectations, we address it on the spot. We stand behind our work — if something isn't right, we'll make it right.
